Hey,

Any of you guys know of any software that will allow me to set a button press to a certain keyboard key when it is tapped and different keyboard key when the button is held for lets say 10 seconds?

I would like my switch games button on my 6 slot neogeo to activate the "escape" key after it has been held down for a few seconds.

Thanks

Sounds like you're describing Severdhed's AHK script here.   :dunno

This is where you lost me.   :dizzy:

If you're on dedicated hardware, how do the software and "escape" key come into this?

Make a script with autohotkey. I created a script to utilize that functionality for things like holding pause to exit, or holding a player start button to drop a coin.

You could learn to program using Autohotkey or to use my AllInOneFYC program.
Greetings!
