WG 1901?, HV Shutdown
« on: September 17, 2014, 09:16:45 am »
Working on a monitor I think is a WG. Printed on board is MTG-2901 MA REV-01 and WG 1901.

When I turn power on I hear HV come on but It immediately fades out or shuts down. Result is no picture and no HV.

I did replace the HOT but result is the same.

Where else should I start to look for this problem?  Help and advice greatly appreciated!
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice.....there is!!

Is it possible to say which components might be causing this problem?
If I could narrow it down, I could start testing or replacing stuff.
