...and this is the final product.
What have I forgotten? The monitor is a Dell 19" 4:3 ratio which I got locally from a private sale for $20, works awesome. No dead pixels or anything.
The glass is tinted ( made like that, not tint put on it), and it's 5mm thick.
Only thing I don't like is the glass clips which seem to be standard for cocktail cabs. I'm looking for another solution.
I have mounted the amplifier just on the inside of the cab so when you open the top, you can easily adjust volume etc, but again, looking for a better solution. I couldn't exactly mount 3 control knobs (trebble, bass, vol) on a 16mm MDF. Maybe cut out a small square and mount an aluminium (I know I like aluminium, it's cheap, light etc) plate on the inside and mount the knobs there, so that way I will have controls on the outside.
I did not use a fan inside my cab purely because I thought I'd be a smartass. I don't think it'll need it. I have a hole cut out on the bottom covered with wire mesh, sorta like speaker grille mesh. Let me know if you guys think I will need a fan.
That's about all I got people. If you have any questions let me know.
Oh and... if anyone is interested in the artwork, I will be more than happy to share with you whatever I have. Just private message me.
Pheww. Sorry I didn't take anymore pics
