Some printing questions

I'm getting some custom sideart, marquee and cp artwork printed for a bartop.  Probably from Game On Grafix unless you guys tell me why I shouldn't.  Obviously I should have some bleed, does the marquee need a bleed also?  Do people normally put cutting guidelines on the art, or just place it by eye?  Does the overlap get trimmed off, or pulled over the edge and placed under the T-molding? Should I submit each piece separately, or should I put the sideart and CP onto one image file?  Thanks!

I used Game on Grafix for some CP art. I was happy with the quality of the printing. You could look at local printer in your area that could do the work as well. I made a bartop cabinet and used a local shop to print the sideart, CP, and marquee.

For bleeds, you want to have a bleed so you know the printing will be across the entire printed piece with no white edges or non printed edges showing. You will need to define a trim line inside the bleed and also for any holes in the art. The excess is trimmed away so you will have a part that will be the measurements of the trimmed area.

Typically you will want to use different materials for the different parts (Vinyl for sideart, back printed clear material for marquee, back printed material with adhesive for CP). It is always good to talk to your printing source on how they would like the files and file types they want to use.

most of those are personal choice,  I would use 1/2" Bleed print all the way round, no cut lines (With possible exception of a screen bezel). I would send art for printing  separate unless you can get a better deal by having more then 1 piece of artwork on the page. With the overlap it is personal choice,  I pulled mine over the edge and placed under the tmolding.  Then again my art is not laminated or anything.  Others have had good results with a router to remove the excess. If I did it again I think that I would do the router method.
