It's an elaborate experiment and demonstration of what electronic components can do.  But for fun. With no rewards other than a headache, confused dog, or the best acid trip you've ever been on with only half a tab.

It looks like so much fun.

People always expect movie props to work, and work like this does. Then they get disappointed when they realize the SetDec glued all the buttons on the Bat-computer to the metal board because it was quicker then drilling holes and threading buttons....

So awesome.
