Video cards compatible
« on: May 18, 2014, 02:20:12 pm »
Are there any new cards (can be bought new) that work with CRT_emu driver and windows XP?  I got a used card in good condition (I thought) and now 6 months later the fan is grinding something fierce. Or, is there a way to repair the fan cheaper than buying a new card?  I just don't have faith in these older cards, the fans are so delicate.  I am on my second one for the arcade machine already.

perhaps consider getting a used ati card which doesnt require a fan
example, the X300:

I'd say they're still sold new in ebay, not sure. Anyway, I've never used cards with fans in my builds.

Fastest fully compatible card would be? Preferably fanless at stock
