LAptop time resets (SOLVED BY DaOld MAN)

Date and time resets every time the computer shuts down and have to pres F1 all the time so lap can restart .planning to use this lap on a bartop is there a way to fix this?

Sounds like you need to replace the CMOS battery in it.
Go to youtube and search for "how to change cmos battery in [insert your laptop model here]"

I try that i dont c any batt and cant remember model  dont have the lap case .  :banghead:

Model number should be under the laptop, unless it is decased. If it is, look for a round watch type looking battery.
It is probably about an inch in diameter and will be shiny like chrome.
Should be able to pop it out, take it to radio shack and get a new one just like it.

this lap is from 2002 so i search all models and sims like is a dell latitud c610 and  i think cmos is missing cus i did a research an looks like this:

I couldn't see the pictures you posted earlier, I was at work.
Glad I could help.
When you connect the new battery you will need to go into bios on bootup and set time and date, also make sure correct hard drive and cd rom (if you are using one) is displayed.
