The I "verbed" topic...
« on: March 21, 2014, 03:08:57 pm »
Maybe I am forcing this topic but both Generic Erics and yotsuyas topics of 'I did so and so' were a good laugh.  I thought we could start a topic of what you did today and let the hilarity ensue.  Or this will fall flat and I'll go back to my dark little recess of the world cursing you all.

Since it's my topic I'll start.

I learned that there are 10 different kinds of iron c channels that all have different weight per foot.

Fate brought us all together.  We are now, to some degree the same and our past is irrelevant. Enjoy your carpentry and video games.

I told the CFO of my company he's spending too much on the new training room, then I told the trainer what Im cutting out of his budget.  I have nothing to do with finance (Im the director of IT) however, they took my word as gospel and cut what I told them to cut.   Now to add a huge TV to my office.......

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

This is why I love the human race.  Fairly smart guy trying to explain quantum probability...... doesn't have enough common sense to understand that the after-effects he's using makes him come off as a nut job.

I'll just say this.  Billions upon billons of random happenings, from the big bang, to earth being bombarded by meteors at a key cooling stage, putting us into a livable orbit, to various improbable conditions allowing for the creation of life, to even more improbable genetic mutations and mistakes creating the human race, to various social choices and accidents leading up to the discovery and founding of the new world, my family immigrating here, and not only my parents getting to together, but all of their parents previous, had to occur just so I could sit here and type this unbelievably long sentence.  Also ceiling cat watches you masturbate.

Well maybe not as cool as LeChucks but I gave my 7 year old his first soldering lesson.
I even had him solder a few caps on a neck board.
Maybe I can have him do some caps jobs for me.

Good teach em young.  There are a few things every human being on the planet needs to at least know how to do.  Soldering is one of those things.

You win.  That is bad ass.

I organized all my arcade parts into bins based on unfinished projects.

I played with these all day

I designed a hands free data entry module for Tobii.
