My pedestal build
« on: March 20, 2014, 06:32:40 am »
I got inspired by some of the builds here and had to build my own. I still haven't finished a logo I am doing for the front of it. I'm using an original xbox with kade encoders running vision 3 and coinops as software. Currently connected to a 36" hitachi crt. Carbon fiber vinyl wrap.

Looks good.  Whats going on the front face with the solitary button?  Is it being punished?  ;)

Since it is in the middle, it shouldn't be a problem, but a word of caution though. I have my "coin" buttons on the front face.  It hasn't been a problem, because its for coins, but sometimes I bump into it.

The button in front turns everything on. It is wired directly to the on switch of the xbox. The xbox is plugged into a smart strip. When the xbox turns on the pedestal lights and button lights turn on as well as the tv. Easy for my kids to use. All the admin buttons are on the top. I'll get a pic of them.

Admin buttons. Got the decals from SlammedNiss. They look great!

Made a few changes. Changed button colors and added some logos.
