The original game graphics are pretty impressive considering when the game was released.



I actually think the graphics have a lot of character to them... in the same way I wouldn't want to update the graphics of the original Super Mario Bros I don't know that an "update" beyond higher resolution would actually improve STUN Runner.

There is some bonus level in a new pac man release where you fly a ship through a tunnel.  I've only seen one pic.  It had a Deep Space 9 wormhole vibe.

My only complaint to stun runner is the cross-hatched shadows which were a limitation of the hardware at the time.  Fix those and it really holds up imho.

This made me laugh.  I completely forgot about this game.  The name meant nothing to me...  then I saw the screenshots and got flashbacks to dumping gobs of quarters on this game. 

Love it when that happens.
