Star Wars Bezel graphics
« on: February 20, 2014, 07:48:00 am »
omitted for brevity, but same pic
This is different than the one I have on my bezel and the one posted @ joymonkey's site.  Any explanation?

Does anyone have a link to the one in the pic?  I must have a bezel from the cockpit cabinet I guess.[/s]

I found the this  picture on the internet.  It is different than mine.
The graphic on my bezel is the same as the one posted @ joymonkey's site.

I must have a bezel from the upright cabinet I guess.  Does anyone have a link to the one in the pic?  It makes more sense visually.  I'd like to think the person in the charge of the artwork had some vision rather than a bunch of straight lines.

/edit
I found the manuals

Not sure what/where that decal is from.

The regular SW cockpit appears to have the same decal as the upright on Joymonkey's, but this cockpit SW/ESB on e-bay has the same decal as yours.   :dunno

Thanks for taking the time to reply.  I've edited my first post.  I'm looking forward to some more pics of the upright bezel.

I bought my CP & Yoke from a different person than I bought the bezel.  I'll have to look in the manual I have, but I don't think that shows the pictures.  Maybe it shows the part numbers. The one I found online didn't.

Here is another shot illustrating the difference.

This pic makes all the difference in the perspective.  In the right lighting, I bet it could feel like a "real" spaceship.

Can anyone tell me their interpretation of what the area in the red circle is supposed to mean?

Lol

Who knows.  I just checked my cpo.  It has part # vsc 1800 040480-03 rev A.   One of the cpos from joymonkey has vs 300 040380-03 rev A.  The numbers might not mean too much.

So I am also on the hunt for the cardboard bezel that goes under the glass, on top of the monitor.  It looks like  4 half inch of silver lines seperated by 3/8" of black. But

But I'm definitely not using a vector monitor unless I win the lotto.  So it is probably moot, but I wonder how much it adds to the space ship vibe.

This is the cardboard I am referring to.  I have seen threads where folks traced there old ones on more sturdy material, but I wonder if anyone has a link to download of the file.
