Anyone in London?
« on: November 19, 2013, 07:16:45 am »
Over here on vacation (holiday) and going through withdraws......Need my workshop back. I joined the local hackerspace of of Hackney road to use their tools. Probably will build another S.A.M. as there is no way I could build a full size here for obvious reasons (transportation).

Anyways, any friendly folks reside in London? I am off Kilburn Ln in "Zone 1"

Yea, but soooo bored. I mean there is a lot to see and I go out almost everyday but not having a workshop has been driving me nuts. I really like to build things.

God, you have no idea how badly I want to order a pump for this ---smurfing--- place. The shower pressure is abysmal. Being a couple floors up from ground makes for a ---smurfy--- showering experience. I modified it a bit already, apparently when the shower head thingy is stretched out it has higher pressure so I rigged it to be constantly tugging.

Not to mention that you either get super ---smurfing--- boiling burning your skin off......or ice tits cold. Never one or the other.

Well I get beautiful pictures like this.......

Haha, yea london seems to be pretty expensive. The cost of rent here for this small flat with crappy plumbing is higher than the price of rent for my 3 bedroom house in Sac Town.

*Seriously though, why haven't Central Heating & Air become a thing here*

By the way I had a blast on the 5th, London was lit up with fireworks all over the place. Quite a sight to see at the top of this hill my lady's coworker showed us. Could see all of london.

Fun, Fun, Fun,  I used to do the same on GuyFawkes, The hill up the road from where I lived had views all the way into Central london. Plenty of fireworks action.   As for Central Heating and Air,  well with the price of Energy in the UK its just not worth it.
