  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
I bought a Boxed Ultimarc Gun and the right red button doesn't register. I've opened it up and all the connections look fine. Looking at the gamepad config in Windows, when I press the left button, it registers the button assigned to it, as well as toggling the right button key bind until I close the config window and return.

I'm completely out of ideas, and I'd rather not have to attempt sending it in for repair ( I live in Canada/BC and shipping prices are just ridiculous). I bought the gun from www.theplaydiumstore.com/ , the controller did actually come damaged, the box was fine but the screw threading in the handle was cracked (right above the cord slot in the casing). The guns firmware is 9.11.

  • Rock and Roll!
Shouldn't it be under warranty if you just opened it up?

I have ordered from both Playdium and Ultimarc, and somehow pay less in shipping and get it faster frm Ultimarc! Of course I am not counting the border fees...

Welcome fellow British Columbian. There are quite a few of us here, hailing from Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, and myself from Nanaimo. There's probably more that I don't know about.

I would recommend contacting Andy at Ultimarc directly and ask for his advice.
