Does anyone here repair granfather/grandmother clocks? I need part help.

So, we've moved several times.  This poor clock has not worked in over 5 years because it keeps getting a new place to work and we don't have a clock mech around.  We had it oiled and tuned about 10 years ago, but we've managed to break the pendulum springs and I don't know if that's something that I can make.

The model is a 1973 1801 Colonial of Zeeland clock with the moon movement.  I'm tired of paying boucoups of chang for someone to come in and replace this little part for 100 bux.

I haven't taken on a grandfather clock yet. I'm working my way up to it. But I have restored a couple of old cuckoo clocks. They weren't terribly difficult to work with, but they were in mostly ok condition (the bellows were blown, needed cleaning and oiling, some minor adjusting, and I had to carve a new bird for the front of one).

They were a lot of fun to work on. Good luck!

Ive never owned a real grandfather clock but have always been amazed by them. That's an interesting site you linked to.
