LOL! I guess the above post I made was a lil long winded.
Everything plugged into powerbar, powerbar left in the "ON" position, when plugged into the wall (and/or) extension cord cabinet turns on.
I know a friend of mine said in North America the power is clean, steady, not like Sri Lanka where is from.
I figured we don't get many surges, and the ones we do are protected from because of the powerbar and it's built in surge protection.
I just thought that perhaps all elements of the cabinet not being turned on by a switch could be an issue ?
Both my Final Fight and Bad Dudes have decent powerbars with surge protection, and the cord I think is sufficient.
However I'll get another. I use the machines in my garage, and it's not easy to reach around behind them.
Using the powerbar made sense for elements like the LCD monitors and light fixtures as they plug right in.
I want to have both Bad Dudes and Final Fight's internals plugged into separate powerbars.
Then when I want to play plug in the powerbar to the extension cord.
EDIT - would a cord like this be sufficient ?
