My Simpson's themed wallmount Jukebox
« on: August 16, 2013, 12:40:34 am »
Hello, just want to post a few pictures of the projects ivee worked with in the past months.

first one its the ugly iphone juke, it kinda looks ugly but what i like about this one,its that we build the skeleton out of 1/2 mdf and we upholster the thing with speaker box fabric, then aplied resin to te fabric wich makes'it kind of like a piece of plastic or fiberglass, then after that we did just a nice finishing and appied regular blue car paint, and thats the finish product right there, interiors are a regular p4 pc with 1 gb ram a 1tb harddrive and some bolivian software thats very popular around here  "psrockola".

next one is a budlight theme jukebox, as the first ipod one, thisone is also a 2 piece juke  made out of acrilic and a regular speakerbox on bottom.

i didnt like this one too , as i wanted to build a nsm alike wallmount juke and it didnt came out close, the other juke in the back its an original bire model juke made by sinfonolas arion, i love those jukeboxes but they are kind of xpensive.

so after many failed attempts i came up with a design im happy with, the simpsons themed juke.
its very very simple design, just a square frame with some half pvc pipes on the sides, and acrilic covers,im using a 17 inch elo monitor, and the best piece of software for a touchscreen jukebox. I just added the simpson decals and the final product came out just fine....ill post ore pictures of the actual build as im making more of these...the first two you see in the picture, one was for a good friend of mine,(thanks Tony) and the other he finace the thing for me...now i just got to get me a nice amplified speaker and i will be good to party, so any coments are wellcome, and as always pardon my very bad grammar, english its my second lenguage.

I don't think I like the iphone juke too much, but maybe that's because I don't own an iphone??

Nice work though!

Would like to make a comment but the pictures are too small for me to see the detail.  Could be my old eyes.  ;D

You'll get that alot on a finished build, you have to document how you built it to get more comments, otherwise, people just look and keep going.

Seconded. I like the look but would like some details on the build. Many here like to take a great idea and make their own or do a spin-off.

Nice curved sides.   I too would love to see your detailed build pics to see how the half pipes were attached.  I cannot see the touchscreen in the Tony's Tavern jukebox but probably just the angle of the picture.  If you could take a picture while the screen is on we could get an idea of how the jukebox looks in operation.

Forgot to mention that only mine has the touchscreen lcd, tonys has a regular lcd and uses a remote control to manage the juke, you can not see the screen as a the time of the picture i didnt remove the decal.
Im building 6 mo jukes this week,so ill make sure ill take alot of pictures andvideo fo the build.
Thanks for the comments.
