Busy day today! a few things came through the post and my final package from mikesarcade has cleared customs!!

almost at the finish line now!

So the original marquee came today and I also managed to get hold of an original DK nintendo I.D tag to fix on the back:

I also received the monitor bezel so got the monitor fitted and tested:

I will be running the cab using a jamma 60-in-1 for the time being (until I can afford the DK board) started wiring the inside of the cab:

So here I am, hopefully it will be finished tomorrow!! :

How did you mount the monitor to the board? I see a fully encased monitor on the bottom with what looks like arcade monitor mounts on the top.

I simply took the casing off and mounted it to the bezel board using the available holes, then reattached the rear casing just to keep everything covered and snug.

Final day of the build!!

I fitted the bezel, added the sticker set and t-molding!

Were the OG cabs painted (black), then laminated (blue)? That would splain it.
