the third link use pic 3&4 and see the starred note about what to to with them after the pics end.
l1 l2 l3 is left trigger and r1 r2 r3 is the right trigger.
also note that is not the solder side of the board in them pics.
the center pin of the 3 holes for each pot is signal on all triggers and sticks.
so once said and done if you wanted you can get 3 extra buttons out of each analog/thumb stick.
6 extra's in total if both sticks are done up like the triggers.
1 gained button from the analog's up/down 2 from the analogs left/right 3 from the thumbstick button / clicker / l3 r3 on playstations.
for pc use that would allow a 2nd digital joystick to be hooked up if needed for example
not required but a few extra's buttons that can be had that most never mention or post or at least that I have seen but have done already

EDIT: those pics/example's can be used on wired or wireless matrix or common becuase the analog functions of the sticks and trigger pots remain the same on all board type becuase they all use the same exact 10k pots and they all mount in the same orientation/place/direction.
I dont do anything with 3rd party so anything for them I would have no clue though.
