I college I lived above a fine chocolate shop. Most of their business was to wineries, but they had a small store front and they would demonstrate everything you could ever want to know about chocolate. I forcibly became a chocolate connoisseur due to the fact that I woke up to the smell of roasting cocoa beans and fresh made cocoa liquor every morning. While I prefer the taste of 72-85% chocolate, their freshly made 95% chocolate is almost a drug. It did happy things to my brain after eating enough of it. I truly understand how Willy Wonka was able to keep a slave labor force of oompa loompas.

HMH HMH HMH HMH. Niice. Yeah, organic, serious quality chocolate is almost mind-alterning. I think organic chocolate has little to no caffeine in it, as the higher the cocoa, the more I can eat, and I get absolutely no buzz. Considering I have no caffeine source in my diet, and just being in whiffing distance of coffee gives me a buzz......

And dis is Choklat...

Southern Tier Choklat is a delicious 10% ABV imperial stout.  I discovered it in bottle, then located a case, and later found a sixtel.  Once that kicked, I replenished.  If you like beer and chocolate, you've got to try this.

I'm not going to disagree that organic is the way to go for both our bodies and the environment but you can say it in a way that doesn't alienate people too.

I'm going on a mission later to find that. I hope they have it in Canada. On the topic of chocolate beers, I have tried many and the vast majority of them are nasty (in my opinion of course.) There's only a few that aren't sickly sweet. One of my favourites is the Philips Longboat Chocolate Porter. Highly recommended. I also just discovered that they have one called Double Dragon. How awesome is that?
