TV display troubles

So I just mounted my CRT TV in my half built machine and I turn it on to test it, only to see a funky little show of lines and then it cuts out and starts again. I took a video and put it on youtube to better explain my point:

has anyone seen this before, better yet does anyone have a potential fix? Muchly appreciated.

for starters , turn down the screen grid .
if it doesn't stabilize,  there are a couple more things to check
 make/model of set ?

You may have bumped or disconnected something.  Did you seperate the chassis and the neckboard while you were decasing it.  Double check all of your connections, especially at the neck, check for solder joints that could have been cracked from something being moved, etc.

btw, the shape of your cabinet frame is interesting.  What style of cabinet are you making?

QRZ, I tried to turn don the screen grid and no change. It's a Panasonic but I threw away the back case so I can't remember what model it is but my guess it is a TX-29FG50A because they look identical.

 rCadeGaming, as far as I can tell nothing has been disconnected or broken, although I'm sure some pressure as put on the neck at some point. as for the cabinet it's a basic 2 player cabinet I designed, the control panel supports aren't installed yet so that may be hy it looks a tad odd

You didn't disconnect the chassis and neckboard at any time?  Look it over again, but don't get discouraged it you can't get it fixed, you can find another suitable MAME TV dirt cheap on craigslist.  Could set you back a few days and $20, but don't let it stop your project.

only thing I disconnected was wires to the speakers. honestly bit bumed I broke it, cost me $50 because it's was pretty good condition when I got it from a local classfieds. Craigslist isn't too big here in Australia. but hey best way to learn a lesson is to pay for it haha. Wasn't intended to be a sitdown, built the rough dimensions off my body size although I mounted the casters in a different place than intended for stability so I need to raise it about 20mm

unless u can find the model # somewhere on the chassis, i'll see if can locate a print for the TX-29FG50A.

fyi, some past models had a setup sw on the neck board .  flipping said switch disabled the vert out .
 1st time encountered i wasted a few minutes looking for the cause of sudden vert loss   
 yup, had bumped it   

curious as to the RGB collector voltages .  normal  should be 120V+

the pursuit of non domesticated waterfowl still may occur at times....

don't know how close it is , but i now have a print for a TX29AD3P
pm if u want it....

IF it is the same , the RGB  B+ is 200v.  with active video the collectors "should" be around 165v
cut off bias is accomplished by Q3359 and Q3368. 
Q3368 is a PNP and should be checked, as it is a common fault in the circuit configuration used here .....

sounds interesting, I'll have a search for the switch when I return home, unfortunately I work away from home so I'll let you know. turns out the model is a panasonic TX-29FX50A. Thanks for your help
