Perfect marquees backlight in the near future?
« on: December 03, 2012, 05:32:58 pm »
I was reading Slashdot and I came across this article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-20553143.

In my opinion that would the perfect arcade marquee backlight: no heat, thin and even light distribution over all the artwork. I'm thinking about putting the backlight directly behind the artwork, between the two glass/acrylic panels.

Looks very interesting - hopefully we'll still be around by the time it goes to market!
