Pumpktris (Tetris in a Pumpkin)
« on: November 17, 2012, 04:46:00 pm »
Not being content to merely carve a hyper-realistic pumpkin, or a massive pumpkin, or even a pumpkin army, Nathan Pryor decided he was going to carve a Tetris game-board into a pumpkin. Then he decided to make a fully-playable.

Check out the video here:

And the story of the development process on his blog here: http://www.hahabird.com/2012/10/pumpktris/

While this is an amazing accomplishment of geekery, it is also to my knowledge the first time a video game has had an expiration date.

No word yet if Mr. Pryor is planning a full-size Donkey Kong pumpkin for next year.
