Good morning to all
i've just bought a new WG D9400 monitor for my cabinet but this monitor came from America and i live in Italy, so the power cord is different here.
Anyone know if is enught to get an adapter or change the plug or must i buy a special power supply?
Anyone know?

An adapter would do but be careful, US voltage is 110V, not 220V like in Europe!
Check the monitor input voltage, I know the D9200 accepts from 90V to 240V so it's safe to plug it directly, but I don't know what's the range of the D9400.

The input voltage range is often written on a label. I think the D9400 was "free range" (90-240V), but don't rely on my memory for this one
If indeed it's free range, you just need a plug adapter, or you can hack off the US plug and put your local plug on the end of the cable (or just make a new cable up). If it's US 120V only, you'll need a step down transformer of course.

SMPS certainly does not ALWAYS imply free range input. Commonly yes it does but certainly not always - some Japanese electronics come to mind. It's always best to check the ratings before plugging it in.
And I could have sworn that WG shipped the D9xxx models with a standard US wall plug pigtail rather than the more conventional "Molex" pin/socket connector found on their older models. Chassis side is I think a 0.156" KK series, so that should be easy enough to acquire if you want to make up your own power cord. Probably easier to just hack the end off the power cord you received and put whatever you need on it, though.

to be more specific i attach two attachments:
1) the page about the monitor voltage
2) a photo of the monitor plug
from what i red here and on the manual it seems that it should be enought to change the plug or buy an adapter...but some experienced people here could say more than me

Yup, it's got worldwide compatible input. You can just hack the plug off and put your local plug on the end of the supplied cable or get a passive adapter. No step-down transformer is necessary.

you likely have EU standard coloring on your plug cords. (blue, brown, and yellow/green)
north american cord sets use white, black, and green.
brown=black
blue=white
yellow/green=green

Not to thread derail, but from where did you obtain a new D9400 in the US?
