Help converting SVG to AI!!!
« on: September 19, 2012, 12:12:56 am »
Hey guys,

First time posting here, but I have been reading lots. I am working on building a control panel and have drawn up a CPO in inkscape for a multi cab with GT and Tekken 3... with 6 buttons for upgrade later. I have found a great place to print it in town but having issues getting it moved from .svg file to a file that will work with AI.  We tried just printing to .pdf but when he imported in ai it messed up my layers and it was going to cost me more for him to fix it then it would to get it printed!!!!!  He said to try sending it to him as a .jpeg but I was only able to get one converted before the .pdf to jpeg trial stopped working..... and the jpeg doesn't look like it is as high res.

I was wondering if anyone would be willing help me out with getting them moved over. I know its not a traditional control panel but this is what I want for my first rebuild.  I am refinishing a Dynamo "Z" cabinet that I picked up on craigslist....... glad the guy didn't know someone just spilled beer on the jamma harness and that is why it wouldn't boot...... ok going off on a tangent....I would appreciate it if anyone would be willing to help. If not then oh well.

If you can .zip it and post as an attachment, people can convert it and re-post.  If the file is too big, try loading/linking to one of the online file uploading sites.
