I dunno. The comic strip layout doesn't really appeal to me, but that's just me.

I kind of liked your first "all black with the two black and white figures" cp layout you posted earlier, though.

Still, really depends on the overall look you're after. All black like that isn't going to look much like a traditional arcade machine.

Hmmmm im stuck then, how about a good vs evil with 2 different colour schemes the the older dbz games for the vs screen... A dbz version of the turtles style cp overlay? Thanks for the input by the way :-)

Jennifer likes the first set, a simple clean attraction draw.... The cartoon one looks a little busy to me. The buttons too seem set up
for someone who is right handed, turned like they are. I"m not left handed, But I would think that could be hard to play if one was.
But in the end it"s all about what pleases you, and the kind of look and feel your going for.

That could work, I've seen similar approaches before around here that looked really good.

Comic strip is totally cluttered.  Use the first one with just the two characters in B&W and change your marquee background to B&W having only the DBZ logo in color.  Drop that same logo at 1/4 size onto the upper left of your CP to tie it together and add a splash of color.  Go with ring lit buttons like Nep used in the Two Headed Beast and call that sucker bad ass.  As for sideart I'd go simple and stick with a B&W look and color logos.  Maybe something really simple just masked over the entire side.  Example below using a Moon Patrol cab silhouette:

I like the CPO where they were both on the right more better.  Buttons over faces never really comes across right.  Plus Blondie will have a joystick for a nose.  Also, all the negative space on the left gave the CP a nice modern edgier look.  Your current offering is less dynamic.

I dunno for some reason I dont like the first one  ??? probably because i just threw it together to get initial opinions, how do you feel about this concept:

based on the character select screen from the game the cab is based on:

Or another idea:

Once ive got the background right i can work on my joystick surround art.. what do you think? different shapes maybe ? still the first post?

This one obscures faces. Not a fan.

I like the advice you've been getting- simple is better.

The orange one is bleh.  The one above is nice but you'll be taking the cab in different direction artistically - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I do like the black and white treatments more.  Your first attempt needs some minor refinement but IMO is the most dynamic and interesting you've done to date.  Sometimes you hit it out of the park on the first swing.  Nothing wrong with that.
