  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Will pay someone for small Control Panel project!
« on: September 13, 2012, 07:52:10 pm »
I been working on my arcade machine for a couple months. I turned a lackluster DK cabinet into a mario bros. I painted it the true mario brothers colors (had to use 4 different oranges to get it right). Now my project is at a stand still because the rest must be as original looking as possible.
I need a mario bros CPO that is for mame. 6 buttons each player! And a spinner in the middle if that's possible. I don't know how to do wiring, editing or anything like that. I would rather pay someone here that can do it better than I can. When I attempt things for the first time I make numerious mistakes, and I want my arcade to be perfect. Does someone happen to have a Donkey Kong sized CP that would alter it to look genuine to the mario bros layout for mame? All pre-wired and everything? There is an image circulating the forums of this type of CPO but there is ONE problem with it. It's not made for a spinner, but I dont know if there is enough room for a spinner anyways, but also the colors are wrong. They don't match the Bezel! The green on the luigi side is ALL wrong and so are the colors of the bricks. If someone can help me with just the overlay with the correct colors and size that would be greatly appreciated. But if someone can make the CP for me that would be even better and I would pay you! I don't want any corners cut so I'd rather talk to the ethusiasts to make sure this is done right. Please e-mail me at KeithPuetz@gmail.com

I would like Illuminated lights. If this is possible, that's great! I am definitely interested in this if this can be done! PLEASE E-MAIL ME IF YOU CAN HELP ME OUT!!!!

I have a pretty damn decent picture of a Mario Bros Mame CPO provided by someone here (THANKS!!!!!)
It's to the correct DK size I believe, it just needs the colors change to match the bezel. You can take a sample of the corret color of the Green and the Brick color from the pictures of the Mario Bros bezel on Google images. And just simply drill some holes, and wire some buttons on a Nintendo Cp!
E-mail me for the Mario Bros Mame CPO to make the slight adjustments to start the project!
ANY TAKERS?

Yaksplat does some custom CPs but I don't know if this is something he'd tackle.  Worth dropping him a line tho.

I would like Illuminated lights.

If they didn't illuminate, would they still be lights?

Depends on how much they weigh I suppose
