NEC PG-2740 - anyone have experience with this monitor?

hey guys,

thinking of picking up this monitor.  Was wondering if anyone has any experience with one?  Specifically, specs say it will run 1024x768 but a user on these boards from a few years ago says he could only get it to run 800x600.  FYI, looking to run 1024x768 thru vga with it.
