Just got this WG 25k7000. It comes on and there's no picture and it makes a static noise. I will install new capacitors.

The flyback is slightly cracked right above the focus button.

I was going to order a new flyback but I was wondering if anything else could have gone bad some how because of the bad flyback?

Any other parts I should order?

Yep, it's only a few bucks and it can be the source of problems like like a wobbly screen.

I wonder if either one of those are compatible... (btw I'm in canada, so it's ebay.ca)  Is there anything else I shoud consider other than having 200v 560uf polar?

Though the flyback has that telltale crack, I don't think that it's taken anything with it.

Does the heater come on?

How is the ground?  It's the wire from the frame to the neckboard.

What is the B+ voltage?

Ok thanks. I'll get to it in the next couple of days. Questions;

What's the heater?

How do I measure the B+ voltage?

The heater is the orange glow that you see in the neck.

You meter the B+ with the black lead on the frame, red lead on the resistor mounted to the left side of the chassis as you face it from the back.  On the tab closest to the tube.   Set the meter to DC voltage, 200V if it's not auto-ranging.
