Does anyone know how to wire recoil into the aimtrak as well as how to power it, I read that it needs 24vdc?  I recently bought two two namco light guns for a good price off ebay and about to order some aimtraks so I wanted some advice before they come.

You are going to have to wire it separately, there is only 5 volts available on the Aimtrack board

Not a simple thing.

There are other ways.  Andy has a firmware that triggers an output on one of the Aim-Trak pins when you fire on-screen.

I tried to use this method with a transistor acting as a relay, but the 24v overwhelmed the recommended transistor and it would stay on.
I got a bigger transistor and the output from the Aim-Trak was either too weak or too short to trigger it.  (I'm not that knowledgable about electronic components)  I decided that I would use an LEDwiz to trigger the transistor instead, but after messing around with the aim-trak for a while, I just can't get it calibrated accurately enough for my taste.  It would be ok if using on-screen crosshairs, but using only the gun sights results in too many missed shots.

As far as the power supply goes, just look up 24v power supply on fleabay.
I believe the one happ sells for gun recoil are 6 Amp.

My aimtraks are wired up to little vibration motors, so it shakes when I pull the trigger, kind of like an Xbox 360 rumble.  I have given up on the Aimtraks for now though.  I could NOT get my second gun to calibrate at all, it became really frustrating.  Good luck
