2 monitors, 2 different problems. I believe they are both Nanao MS29-A monitors.
First monitor:(photo taken to show the state initially and then after 1 and 2 minutes):
Looks like maybe a partial vertical collapse? About 2/3 up the screen the scan lines are very tightly together to the point of overlapping and producing a bright bar. The scan lines for the top 1/3 of the monitor are very spaced out and far apart. After several minutes the lines from the bunched up area slowly spread up to the top 1/3 and eventually looks near perfect.

Second monitor:Image is very pale and washed out looking with white bleeding over to the right. After several minutes though, it becomes usable and not too bad looking (with finely tuned RGB, brightness, contrast settings).
Are these easy fixes? I haven't physically looked at the boards to see if caps look blown because opening the cabinet is a bit of a chore.
The fact that both problems become less apparent with time makes me think this may be due to bad solder joints?
