Whatever song you are listing to over and over again as of RIGHT NOW. Could be a Parody, Christmas song, a jingle you heard on TV… whatever. Just post one, don’t need to see a list of every song you like.

Heard this on the radio and now have been playing it over and over again for the last week.

I've been listening to a Power- folk - doom metal band from Israel called Orphaned Land... This song is just incredibly good.

Folk Metal? Can you name some bands in that genre? Never heard of it. I consider myself a pretty decent metal head, but Folk has eluded me so far.

Hey MikeZilla,

I could give you the Boring answer of Wikipedia Definition but the truth is .. if you are stealing from your cultural heritage to make metal you probably qualify. Examples include using traditional instruments or ripping off old works ... The Orphaned Land song was actually a 17th century poem. There is a lot of metal stuff going on over in Europe lots of music being produced and quickly... Just take a look at someone like Jorn Lande ... he's got Solo stuff, the band MasterPlan, projects like Allen-Lande and Avantasia and probably a bunch of other stuff too.

Of course a lot of these bands/genres probably can't sell out a pay-toilet but some of it is pretty interesting.

Oh and to keep us on topic ... I was singing this one while out for a walk with my daughter this afternoon

fun. - We Are Young I can't decide between the original and the Glee cast version though. The official music video is friggin weird though if you haven't seen it: Fortunately the girl in the video is super hot so it's still worth watching.

Also I was dumpster diving a few months back and found Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More and I can't remember a CD that I've listened to more times in such a short period. Every song is great.

Santigold's got a new album coming out. She's released a single:

Her first album was amazing. I'd put money on this being her breakout album. She's been tapped to open for some huge acts over the last few years. FYI, she was previously Santogold but an IP dispute led to changing the O to an I.

I read about that but I haven't heard any of it. She collaborated on a track with Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs (who I also love), and it was pretty good stuff.
