for an ssd, get a 120 GB.  You'll have enough room for plenty of programs.

I just saw a 120 for $115 a couple days ago at newegg.  OCZ is a great brand.

You realize that $100 50 pack of writable Blu-Rays is only ~1.25TB, plus you need the burner at $80.  Even at current prices, a 1-1.5TB HDD is only $120-170.  Fry's is still often putting 2TB on sale for ~$180, sometimes even 3TB for around that price.  The HDD will be much faster, has relatively high speed random access, and won't require you to swap in one of 50 discs to access your data.  I think the HDD still wins.

This was my argument a few months ago.  Better to buy a £38 1tb HDD than to load up on DVD/BR.  But if the hard drives are drying up with no end in sight.....

I think I also mentioned my DVD catalog going the way of the dodo, due to laser rot, I'm betting BR hasn't got this issue.

The BR is on my latest order, before prices start climbing on those too.

AFAIK all burned media has this issue.

Only pressed media is okay forever.  Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

This is not a thing.  Stop trying to make it happen.

I have to buy a vowel.

I have to buy a vowel.

Normally I hate being "outside the loop" but judging by the picture I'll wager it's a good thing.
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

PBJ speaks the truth. Look like you're having some fun showing off your goodies for a million, Lindsay. Just think about how many packs of smokes you can pick up for that $$$ and smile.

Perhaps not *All* of it was necessary, but I'm sure some was needed to make a crackhead look presentable.  It's sad.

Hard drive prices are dropping.

Another example: Camelegg shows rival Seagate's 2TB Barracuda Green ST2000DL003 went from $69.99 on Oct. 15 to $229.99 on Nov. 1. It's now down to $169.99, and Newegg will sell you 20 of them at a time.

I bet Newegg would.  ;D

Red-head Lohan was much better looking than this attempt at Marilyn Monroe.
