I play the 2002 version every now and then.  Works good.  Give it a shot

There are a couple of threads out there addressing this issue. PGA Tour 2000 is great if you like a more realistic golf game than Golden Tee provides (if you swing to hard without being perfectly straight, you can whiff and miss the ball completely; do this really badly and your golfer will actually fall on his butt!).  The latest Links will use a trackball motion swing, but has lots of excess clicking and feels too much like a computer game to be fun on a cabinet.

Fortunately, all the major golf games have downloadable demos; the PGA Tour 2000 demo includes a full 18-hole course, so you can actually put the demo on your cab!

I play a ton of TW2003.  Is a great time killer and well worth the money.

My first post!!!  I've been reading this forum for a long time, but have never posted.   ;D

Anyway, has anyone played the new PGA Tour 2003(4) video game?  It's basically a cabinet with a big monitor, nice control panel, a PC running Windows XP, and a modified version of the home PGA Tour game.  I would imagine this would play exactly the same on a home cabinet.

Have you noticed that PGA Tour cabinet looks almost like GTG?  Same placement and color of buttons too.

Yeah.  We have both of them sitting side-by-side and they look an awful lot alike.  When we first got PGA Tour, we had a lot of trouble with it so they sent us a new PC.  We eventually got an entirely new machine and haven't had anymore troubles.

Yep - they actually got sued by Incredible Technologies over that game too...

Can you lead me to where the PGA Tour 2000 free demo download is with the full 18 hole course?? A link would be great.

Thanks.

Yeah, I'd like to know too, The demo that is officially released by Sierra is 3 holes, but players 6 times over to make 18 holes.

Find the real thing then goto
