Hello everyone.....First time Post
I recently got a Skeeball Toss machine for $20 from an arcade warehouse company that went out of business. The SkeeToss machine basiclly is a skeeball machine without the ramp. made for little kids to toss a rubber ball in the holes instead of rolling. My goal is to tear out the front and build a skeeball ramp to attached to this machine. I've had a lot of luck getting all the electronics working and my ramp is looking good thanks to the inspiration from this message board, epecially UncleT.
The problem I'm facing right now is the machine keeps saying the ticket machine has stuck tickets...even thought they are not stuck. They feed right through with no problem. I've tried unhooking the ticket dispenser and still get the message. After taking the ticket dispenser apart, cleaning it all....I don't believe there is any problem with the ticket dispenser...I think its a problem with the circuit board. I really want this setup to not use the tickets....I'm trying to figure out how to program this machine...but can't seem to figure out. I tried using UncleT's manual but that doesn't seem to apply with my machinge. The circuit board doesn't have any dip switches.
On the circuit board there is a button (looks to be some sort of test button) that if I hold it fo 10 secs and let go the display will go to 00...and if I hit the different inputs,,,coin operation (displays 1), start button (displays 2), ticket dispenser button (displays 3), top cherry switch/50 (displays 6) the three middle cherry switches/40,30,20 (displays 4), bottom cherry switch/ball count 10 (displays 5). I've tried messing around with those but nothing seems to change. If I had the button on the circuit board it will go to some sort of count down/test mode on the display on its cleared by hitting the start button and gets out of this mode.
Anybody have any suggestions on how to program this so I can get rid of the ticket option?
What kind of options do I have in doing a custom cicuit board? I might just go that route but I'm an amatuer at all of this so not sure how hard that will be.
