Game Info in Mamewah
« on: August 05, 2011, 01:03:10 am »
I am trying to configure other emulators in mamewah, currently working on NES using MESS. I got the emulation working, but all my games list has is the rom file name. Is there a way to get the game info for NES and other systems like it is for MAME?

I don't mind if it means I have to manually edit files or whatever, I just want it to look nice :P

Much appreciated for any help you can give.

That's the way it is for console roms. But what's wrong with the names? You should either have Goodtools or No-Intro's naming convention.

You can use a custom naming file.

nms_file                                  [emurootpath]\[emuname]\name_list.nms

The file has the following format:

Title in Menu|ROMNAME

From my NES.NMS file:

Addam's Family - Puggsley's Scavenger Hunt|ADDAMSPS
Adventure Island 2|ADISLAN2
Adventure Island 3|ADISLAN3
