I sure am glad that people like me pay taxes so that people like you can blame everyone else for their 'disabilities'.
A: Dear PBJ, first off, I do have a job. In fact, I started working Illegally when I was underage, and have been working nearly nonstop ever since.
B: And the times when I was not working, most times I was using my own savings to keep myself afloat.
C: And every dollar you make, is made off the back of Slave Labor in China, India, and other poor as hell countries... all the while You living under the Convenient unbrella of a curently "$14,347,377,485,924.18" national deficit. Which works out to "46,132.00." per person living in the usa. Which is growing exponentially every day...
You are just as bad or good as the next person... Except that you think you are better & superior, when really, you should be thinking how fortunate you are, and how sad it is for the lesser fortunate people, of which you take advantage of indirectly.
If it were not for them, you wouldnt have Squat. And if the US Debts were to be called in today... everything you have ever bought would be repossessed. Your land taken. You put out in the streets, possibly doing some China mans chores for a mere meal... "IF" you were so lucky.
D: Spending a little money to help save a person, may help them from wrecking other innocent peoples lives... Such as mowing over your little daughter in a drunken accident. Save accident fees, hospital bills, reconstruction of buildings and structures, legal fees, and much more.
E: Spending a little money to educate people better + spotting troubled people, could save both lives and money. For example, all those prisoners have to be clothed, washed, laundered, fed, watched over, court fees, hardware, driven, protected, etc. In fact, USA is one of the leaders in having the most criminals per population levels. Nice ehh?
I could go on and on about the travesties of modern society.. but I wont. The point is clear... that you are wrapped up in yourself and your own very limited and self centered point of views. You dont see reality clearly nor truthfully... and yet you feel confident and prideful in it.
Not one shred of compassion was spoken when you told a foreigner wishing for a pinball machine, to 'get a job'. When the reality is, if he worked 5x times harder than you, 15 hrs a day, for +10yrs... he still couldnt really justify / afford buying a machine. He probably couldnt even afford to pay his electric bill to run the thing even if he did manage to get hold of one.
Heartless. Selfish. Cold.
Not a single apology for it. Remorse? Conscience?
Heres some food for thought.... One day, you will pass away. And when that day comes... you just Might be given the choice to live again. Accept, when you come back, it will be in the body of an indian cotton worker. Sweating 16hrs a day just to have a little rice, while sleeping under your sewing machine.
While Im not saying that life is fair, that I dont also enjoy the fruits, nor am I going to give everything I own away... I do realize what I have is a tremendous gift in comparison. And that I try my very best not to look down on people, nor cast stones and harsh judgments.
Forgiveness, Compassion, and understanding... are key, and are some of the best traits of humanity.
