Revolution X refresh

Bit of a stretch to call this a restore.

I took this cab in as part of a trade (one I regret BTW) and it wasnt nearly in as good of shape as the seller told me. Im not afraid of a little hard work so I got down to it.

This is how I got it:

Guns didnt work 100% , Recoil was rock solid but sound was a no go. After cleaning out what had to have been 2 or 3 cans worth of dried soda off the CP, and out of the inside of the cabs and off the boards, I really got to work. I ended up replacing the pots in the guns and replacing the sound board entirely. Somehow the recoil board stopped making the guns recoil. Normally Id be upset at this but honestly the recoil is just too strong in this game anyway and I like it better without it.

As you know I recreated the marquee art for this game (RevX with no sound and no marquee seems to be a common trend) as seen in this thread:
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,144223.0.html

Here is a pic of it actually installed:

I didnt take any pix of the wiring or insides of the guns because... its just wires :shrugs: But I did replace the black tmolding on the outsides with yellow, I think it really pops!
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.
