Language problem with Donkey Kong 64
« on: April 01, 2011, 07:11:36 pm »
I have Donkey Kong 64 rom I'm using with Project 64 emulator. Maybe it's spmething I'm doing very silly... but I've tried searching for an answer on Google but have had no luck. Basically the game loads fine and plays fine. The cutscenes are all in English but the menus are all in Japanese. I have no idea what each menu does. How do I change the language to English? Am I loading the wrong rom? Project64 says last rom played was DK64 (English). Just confused with the Japanese text in game.  :dunno

I've sorted out the problem. Seems like I had the Japanese version all the time... even though it was called "Donkey Kong (US)" in the rom folder. I tried a different copy of the rom (same exact name and exact same file size) and all is well.
