Betson 640x288 question
« on: October 08, 2010, 11:57:28 am »
Hello,

I used the TriSync utility to set my Betson Multisync monitor to the recommended 640x288 for use with Mamewah, but why does the Windows desktop look bent-in at the top? If I set it to 640x480 everything looks perfect, but 288 is supposed to achieve a flicker-free non-interlaced display. I'm not even talking about running Mamewah or MAME yet, so none of those settings should be involved. Shouldn't the Windows 7 desktop screen display perfectly?

(I am using ArcadeVA 3000).

Thanks,

Kenaan

Try using the on-screen pincushion adjustment.  You should only have to do it once and it will store it in memory for next time.

ok, i get it now. windows desktop, mamewah splash screen, and mame game are all separate screen resolution issues. everything's working fine now!
