Monitor repair/calibration problem?
« on: September 07, 2010, 03:37:21 pm »
Hey guys,
I recently moved, and of course moved my Tetris cab with me. Before I moved it worked perfectly. Before I moved, I removed the monitor from the cabinet so it wouldn't bang around inside the cabinet. When I finally got everything setup at my new place. I reinstalled the monitor, but now my monitor looks like this. I'm tried calibrating it with the knobs on the back, but can't seem to get a anything legible to show up on the screen. Am I just not trying hard enough? Or do I have a bigger problem on my hands?

looks like you have lost sync or video ground

you would need to run continuity tests using a multimeter on both those signal lines-maybe you even left a plug off when you reinstalled the monitor
