220. 221. Whatever it takes.
« on: June 19, 2010, 03:26:11 pm »
When you get that kick ass new power supply from China (cough cough), remember not to start bitching and moaning when it isn't performing to spec...because YOU (me) forgot to check the input voltage switch. That's right, it was set to 230V not 115V.

Heck.  Last (and only) time I plugged something in that was still set at 230V, it blew a cap.

Really? Huh. I might expect that the other way around (switch on 115 and you plug it into 230)...but usually they just don't work or, as in my case, sorta suck :)

Yes it is.

If you liked the Airplane movies you may like Top Secret!.  Instead of disaster movies it is a mash-up of WWII and Elvis movies.   One of my favorites.

Its the other way for me.  I ALWAYS forget to hook the step down and flip the switch.

The fireworks afterwards is the problem...well that's why I now buy a hand held extinguisher.   :laugh2:
