Hello men,

I return to see you after his a few times to speak about my last creation , the MVGS-2PX:

Thanks to this adapter which connects on USB port of your PC, your Playstation 3 and your Xbox 360 you can play with all your retro-Gamepads like Atari2600, Atari7800, Master-System, Nes, Megadrive, super-Nintendo, Gx4000, PC-Engine, supergameboy gamepads.

The original gamepads are modified, their cable are replaced by a HD-15 connector and their printed circuits was modified too.

Indeed, each pads will have a single and same HD-15 cable to connect to the MVGS-2PX.

Indeed too, you can active 3 level of Turbo on all gamepads buttons.....

*Here a photo of the MVGS, MVGS-2P and MVGS-2PX with 16 compatible gamepads:

*Here a photo of the MVGS-2PX on xbox360:

*And here a video of the MVGS-2PX in action:

See you soon. ;)

  • With a router big enough, we can shape the world!
It's a cool enough idea, but I dont like how those big DB9 ports look on the controllers.  I assume this must be cheaper in someway I guess?  I converted my NES pads to USB with these kits

http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=44

They look clean and simple, no added bulk.  Im assuming your pitch would be that it would cost less than me buying one of these conversion kits for each controller?

Personally Id still rather do it that way I have, no extra interface box or anthing.. and it looks like a regular NES pad still , just with a usb plug on the end.

Those aren't DB9 pin ports, they're HD15. IIRC I believe these are colloquially known as VGA. Same physical size as the DB9, but has a dense 15 pin arrangement.

OK, since I do not speak or read French, I had trouble with the web site. So perhaps you can answer a couple of questions.

Is the MVGS-2PX available? Cost? Kit or assembled?

Does it work with an unmodified xbox 360?

Does one have to make their own modified controllers?

Hello fa001.

-I'm sorry for you, but i not sell the MVGS-2PX. To build it, it cost me 50 euros (by not counting the Gamepads).

-The MVGS-2PX work with all Playstation 3 an all Xbox360. You don't need to modified your xbox360 to play with it. :)

-For the last question, i dont understand sorry (i'm french). :embarassed: If you can repeat with others words please....

The site has a Babel Fish Language Translation Link on the Left Side, so you can read everything in English.

  • Have you played with my GingerBalls?
    • forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,142404.msg1475162.html
just a little FYI, if it works on the Neo Geo AES it'll work on the Neo Geo MVS  , since the MVS has 2 AES controller ports on the front.

cheers!
Thom
