scratch build, back door for tv removal
« on: April 07, 2010, 07:28:37 pm »
I'm progressing through my first project, and I can't seem to find any pictures or information on back doors for anything other than restoration projects. My tv fits very snugly into my set up and I'd like to be able to get the tv out so I can move the arcade around if need be. I don't have too much room on the sides to play around with and was wondering the best way to create this. I'm very inexperienced with woodworking and I'm not really sure what my options are here. Any suggestions or pics of previously done similar projects would be great.

Tons of examples just go to the Project Announcements thread instead of the Restoration one.

Martijn's build goes into quite a bit of detail on how he did his backing.  You will see his fit was about as snug as they get :)

One question though...can't you remove your tv out the front via removing your bezel?
