Pac-Man Hallmark Ornament Artwork
« on: March 04, 2010, 09:31:32 am »
I hate to say it, but I actually /like/ the art on the Pac-Man Hallmark ornament.

The side/kickplate art is too detailed for me to try a stencil, but I wouldn't mind seeing the marquee on my soon-to-be machine.

Has anyone tried to make this art or does anyone know of a company that's printing this design for real cabinets?

The artwork is a variation on the Pacman for the neo geo pocket color and the pacmanVS art from the gamecube version. From that point on, the version of pacman seen there was also used for a few other official pacman related things including the neo geo pocket color game. yahoo also has a promotional image for a pacman demo available in their games section which contains the same artwork. There is also a wider variation of the art used in the Jakks Pacific Tv Plug and Play arcade version 5 pictured below. As you can see from the last image, the marquee has him running in the opposite direction.

someone at the classicarcadegaming forums has one and actually created a photofly mesh from it. I bet he can probably scan that little ornament and put up pics of the art.
