Asteroids Deluxe BACK in the Asshat Arcade
« on: March 01, 2010, 01:45:53 am »
Lookee what I acquired today...

WORKS... has all 3 AC pins... is DAMN clean overall... all that I did to it was clean it up,  add a black light lamp to the back blacklight fixture and a starter to the front marquee fixture.  Since I had to drill out the lock,  a new lock was added.  That's all she wrote.   The cab is easily in 8.5 to 9 condition.  There is only about 11,000 ticks off each of the counters.

Now I've had two Asteroids and now two AD's come through.  This one is a keeper,  but at the cost of the Asteroids which is going up for sale.

Very nice!  I love my Asteroids Deluxe!  I just got mine working again. . need to fix the black light and rebuild the AR board since it's buzzing.

I'm somewhat tempted to get an Asteroids board with the modified ROMs so that it is plug and play in an Asteroids Deluxe machine though so that I can play that.  Which do you prefer to play, Asteroids or Deluxe?

Boy, you are on a roll with new pickups.  Glad to see you got an AD back in the arcade.  Now you just need to find a Star Wars to go next to it.

My current collection:  Arkanoid^3, Asteroids Deluxe, Centipede, Donkey Kong w/DIIK, Frenzy w/Berzerk multi, Galaga, Galaxian, Gyruss, Mappy,  Missile Command, Multi-Williams, O'Boyles Arcade (Mame), Pac-man,  Sinistar, Star Wars, Tempest, War Gods
