Driving Cab plans or something
« on: February 24, 2010, 12:13:50 pm »
So, now that I have the cab finished, I need a new project...  I was gonna use the plans from mameroom, but they are discontinued for some reason.  Does anyone have something close that I can mod to suit my needs.  I am looking for a CLOSED cockpit feel.  It would be great if I could cut the piece OUT of a 4*8 sheet, but I am not sure if that is TOO long and/or NOT tall enough..  Thanx

I stumbled onto this the other day..  not tooo involved but could give you some ideas.  Doesnt have a full closed cock pit but you could build up from the sides to enclose it.

funny you say that, that was my dilemma up until I found a empty Pinball cabinet yesterday.  So i am moving forward with PINBALL then if i still have any money will do a driving cab.

My thoughts for a Driving cab are this..  Since it makes perfect sense to use an Xbox 360 in there, why not turn in it into both a driving cab and a little videogaming cave, a la Confidential mission with two racing seats instead of a bench..

I built one a few years back.  You might find some ideas in there.
