MaLa and automated 4/8-way list switch?
« on: May 22, 2008, 01:27:15 am »
So I had a thought: since the switch on the Mag-Stik Plus is exposed, why not stick a microswitch somewhere nearby it, so that when I switch into 4 or 8-way mode on the stick, the microswitch is automatically switched/unswitched. This would let the computer know whether the stick was in 4 or 8-way mode.

My question is -- is there any way I can automatically switch items on gamelists or switch my set of gamelists (I have my lists divided by genre) to reflect the current mode? For example: in 8-way mode, only display the 8-way games, in 4-way mode, only display the 2 or 4-way games?
