I've decided to post an ongoing offer for custom arcade artwork design. Thought I'd formalize the process a bit to keep budgeting time/money under control. Tongue

The following prices are for design only, not for printing. I strongly recommend mamemarquees.com for that.

Marquee $75

Includes:
A minimum of 4 different logotype options in black and white to choose from
Marquee design based on your input for basic style (classic, futuristic, cartoony, etc.) and color palette.
2 moderate revisions to marquee layout.
Additional revisions for $5-$15 per round of revisions depending on complexity of changes

Does not include character vectorizing or creation of specific images (ie starfields, explosions etc...) Elements like these can be quoted separately.

Sideart $75 (not full side)

Includes:
Sideart design based on marquee design
4 moderate revisions to layout
Additional revisions for $5-$15 per round of revisions depending on complexity of changes
Full bleed sideart (covers entire side panel) can be quoted separately.

Control Panel

Basic: $75 - no control specific artwork locations (arrows around joysticks, button lables, trim around controls, etc.)

Complex $150 - full control specific artwork (If CP has already been drilled, an accurate drilling template from a digital file must be provided. If CP has not been drilled a template will be included for you to print out.) Control layout for undrilled panels based on measurements adds additional $25.

Includes
Control panel artwork (no control art for basic version)
2 moderate revisions to design elements
Additional revisions for $5-$15 per round of revisions depending on complexity of changes. Revisions to number of controls or control arrangement may be priced higher.

If panel has already been drilled, and the original drilling template does not exist as a digitial file (AI, PSD, etc.) the ONLY artwork option is BASIC. I can't really guarantee accurate artwork placement from hand measured existing panels.

I hope by formalizing all this that people don't see this as a business. I'm just another BYOAC addict who enjoys doing this. Please understand that this isn't a big money maker and that when you figure in the hours it takes to do these designs I'm really giving my time away for under minimum wage. Yep... I'd be better off flipping burgers part time. Significantly. Wink Don't tell my wife.

Contact mitch@cutandrun.tv if interested. I prefer email over PM's since it keeps everything organized easily.

Please do not request work in this thread.  Smiley Open images below in a separate window for larger size.

For those that don't know, Pixelhugger also designed many of my tokens.  He's a pleasure to work with, and the art speaks for itself.  Shocked We're not worthy!

Final stuff from earlier...

I vectorized the robot from existing art (not mine). So I can't take credit for that part of the design.

I wonder if the person getting that CPO would share a photo with us when it's done?  I am curious to see what happens to the fantastic 3d look of the button grouping cutouts after there are buttons in it.

Great looking stuff by the way, I can only imagine how nice it looks in full resolution.

Oh Yes I got it! It is beautiful!! My hats off to PixelHugger and to Scott at MameMarquees!! They Rock!

Everything on the board lights up except for the Spinner and the 4 way joystick. I am running Mala 1.04 with one LEDwiz and the ledwiz plugin. The joysticks are the light up ones that cycle multi color continuously.

I really do recommend PixelHugger for your artwork. He is a pro, and very customer friendly.

Thanks again PixelHugger!

Wow!   We're not worthy!

Amazing paint job on the bottom of the control panel with the multi colored stripes and at the top where the speakers are.  This cabinet is wicked cool.  It was worth the wait!

Outstanding job!

Thanks alot on the compliment. The stripes were inspired by sprint I think.

All I did was use tape and spray paint to do the stripes, lots of layers and then clear coat after. The sides are laminate cut to fit with a router.

I love the sideart, but it looks small to me. I probably should have done something bigger maybe. Its tricky with a weird side like that.

All the metal was done in a 3D app and layered in Photoshop.

I've taken on a couple of projects here and there but the pace is incredibly slow.  ??? Plus theres my own cab project and artwork redesign which further complicates things. *sigh*

He's alive.  Yay!   Clap clap clap!  Congrats on the twins...  Apparently you and your skills are well missed...

Thank goodness your back though, my email is flooded for artwork in your absence.  The thing is I have no idea what Im doing and I suck at doing artwork as it turns out.  Maybe you can set things right and do some artwork soon....

I do hope that you're still in business, your work is awesome, and I have big plans for my cabinet graphics, and limited photoshop skills and would clearly rather pay for awesomeness than too try and do it myself and come up short..... Cool

got to hand it to you, the installed marquee looks pretty slick. Nice change from all the buttsore mamecabs on ebay with blue lightning or game characters plastered on by a 5 year old.
