Volume ? All games running at same volume ?
« on: August 21, 2005, 11:07:10 pm »
Is it possible ? Like to normalize everything ? Is there a specific emulator with such feature ? Im just trying lots of games and creating folders right now but everytime I start a game it runs at a different volume than the prvious one... so when my cab will be done im wondering if I will always have to play with the volume knob like this...

I'd love to hear on this too.  Or at least get instuctions on how to raise the decibel level of a game.  I don't understand why they would include a decrease volume control, but not an increase (Am I missing it?)

This will be a pain, but what you can do is find the game with the lowest volume, raise the speaker volume (on your cab/computer) to the loudness you want, then you go in all other games (which will be too loud now) and lower them down.

Like I said, a pain.

Until the day you try a new game, forget you had not set its volume DOWN yet and you pee your pants when the full blast sound makes ya jump!

This will be a pain too, but what you can do is find the game with the highest volume, lower the speaker volume (on your cab/computer) to the loudness you want, then you go in all other games (which will be too quiet now) and raise them up.

No pee required. ;)

But Coot, in MAME all games are already set to max volume. You can only lower them.
