  • Hi...
coin door question
« on: September 02, 2004, 02:52:17 pm »
I've recently been toying with the idea of hooking up my coin door.  I have a SlikStik control panel on my cabinet that currently has two buttons used for entering credits.  Each with wires going from the N/O and COM of each button to the I-Pac.  They are connected with quick disconnects and what I want to do is incorporate the coin door into the loop somehow and still keep my credit buttons functional.  I already connected wires to the N/O and COM of both coin mechs but what's the best way to hook them to my credit buttons N/O and COM hookups that already have quick disconnects running those wires to the I-pac.  Wow... I hope I explained this clear enough.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, somebody's probably gonna come along and tell you to post this elsewhere, but before they do...

If you want to keep the buttons AND use the coin door, just wire up the coin door and have those wires go to the same wires on your encoder as the coin buttons do.

Oh crap!  I didn't even realize I posted this in the Buy/sell/trade forum.  If one of the mods would be so kind to move this to the main forum that would be great. :-[
